This exciting project delivered by YMCA Trinty Group will work with young people, 11-18 (Up to 25 SEN), community members and vulnerable adults across Peterborough to provide a safe and engaging space with a programme of activities to support people to belong, contribute and thrive.
About the role: As Youth & Community Project Worker your role is to create a safe, inclusive and engaging space for young people and the wider community.
You will work closely with the Youth & Community Project Manager and other Project Worker to develop, deliver and evaluate youth and community programmes within our Community Hub which support project aims, meets funding requirements and aligns with YMCA Trinity’s core values.
In this varied role, you will interact with members of the public as Youth & Community Programmes, including: digital hub, community fridge, Youth Club, advice & guidance, in-school outreach and life & career skills.

Skills and experience
In accordance with safer recruitment processes many of the roles we recruit for require successful candidates to undertake an appropriate criminal record background check. If an offer of work is accepted, YMCA Trinity Group will facilitate these checks on behalf of our staff and volunteers via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Days and hours 21 hours per week, on Tues/Weds/Thurs. 12-7pm. Subject to change dependent on programme.
Salary £12.53 per hour.
