Accommodation Relief Worker

At our Peterborough sites, we currently offer two types of accommodation, each tailored to meet different local needs. While both provide the same essential support services, they are set within unique environments, offering access to a variety of on-site and nearby facilities to help young people thrive and grow in independence.

About the role

Relief Accommodation Project Workers play a key role in supporting young residents as they build essential life skills for independent living. You’ll engage with them day-to-day, helping to create a warm, clean, and homely environment while encouraging positive behaviour and personal growth. Your support will be vital in helping them prepare for a successful resettlement.

• Solid understanding of confidentiality and maintaining professional boundaries.
• Committed to working in a respectful, inclusive, and non-judgemental way.
• Confident and positive when engaging with young people, building trust and rapport.
• Able to stay calm, focused, and effective under pressure.
• Comfortable using computers and digital tools in everyday tasks.
• A positive team player with a can-do attitude and a willingness to support others.

In accordance with safer recruitment processes many of the roles we recruit for require successful candidates to undertake an appropriate criminal record background check. Days and hours –Various shifts are available, on and an as and when required basis. Our teams work 7 days a week, day, evening and nights shifts are available.

Please note, this position will involve some lone working.

£12.21 per hour.
